My Services

Dr. Rawson has been helping individuals and families for over 20 years to make desirable and sustainable changes in their mental and emotional well-being, and improve their effectiveness in their careers, relationships, and personal lives.

Dr. Rawson is passionate about learning and mastering skills that will make a positive difference in his own life and the lives of others. He is committed to sharing his know-how to help others overcome difficulties and live more robust and satisfying lives.

Dr. Rawson graduated with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program of professional psychology at Florida Institute of Technology. He completed a one-year APA-approved internship at The Pennsylvania State University Center for Counseling and Psychological Services. He also holds master's degrees in counseling psychology and business administration. He has worked
with diverse client populations in a wide range of settings, including college counseling centers, community mental health centers, private and public psychiatric hospitals, and private practice.

Dr. Rawson continually seeks opportunities to enhance his knowledge, experience, skills and abilities to relieve suffering and help others live more effective lives. He has obtained continuing education certificates in the ethical practice of psychology and in various clinical domains, such as the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, ADHD, depression, and disaster mental health services. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rawson has applied his talents to the practical needs in his community, serving as a Red Cross volunteer assisting tornado victims and working alongside other disaster relief workers in the field.

Dr. Rawson loves hobbies that combine mental stimulation and a hands-on experience.
Some of his past and present interests include sailing, boat-building, photography, hiking and camping, computers, physical exercise, and being a good all-around handyman. (He once built an 18-foot trimaran sailboat by himself from a set of plans; so you know he possesses vast amounts of
ingenuity, attention to detail, patience, determination, and creativity). He is also the proud father of two wonderful children. He is grateful for his life, health, family, and the knowledge and talents he possesses to help people who truly desire to be at their best. He would welcome the opportunity to assist you.
